Terms of use
Version 1, [date]. By creating an account or using Ink Nuvo you accept these terms.
1. Who we are
Ink Nuvo is run by [company name exactly as registered], [registered address], [registration number] ("we"). Contact: [support email address].
2. The service
Ink Nuvo lets you write text and have AI rewrite it in a style you choose. It also suggests ideas and builds style guides from books you upload. The AI model is Claude, by Anthropic. We may change or end features, and we tell you before we end the service.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if that is higher.
- You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can delete your account in Settings at any time.
4. Words and packs
- A new account gets a free amount of words. Packs of words are sold on the pricing page.
- Words pay for AI work as the pricing page describes. Unused words don't expire.
- Words have no cash value and can't be transferred or sold.
5. Payments: Paddle is the merchant of record
Our order process is run by Paddle.com Market Limited and its group (Paddle), our merchant of record. Paddle is the seller of the word packs to you. It charges VAT and sales tax, sends your invoice and handles payment. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase. We never see your card details. Purchases made in the iPhone app are sold by Apple under Apple's terms.
6. Refunds
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of buying a pack. A refund takes that pack's words back. Unused words are forfeited if you delete your account. The details are in the refund policy, which is part of these terms.
7. What you may write and upload
- You keep the rights to what you write. You give us the permission we need to store it and send it to the AI to do what you ask.
- Don't use Ink Nuvo for anything illegal, to harass or deceive people, to produce sexual content involving minors, or to attack or overload the service. We may refuse or remove content that breaks these rules, and block accounts that repeat it.
- You are responsible for what you publish. If you publish AI-rewritten text to inform the public on matters of public interest, the law may require you to say it was generated by AI.
8. Books, copyright and quotes
- Upload only books you have lawful access to and the right to analyse. You confirm this each time you upload.
- Don't upload copies you got by breaking a technical protection. We don't circumvent DRM.
- Uploaded books are read in memory to write a style guide, and are never stored. A guide describes a style and doesn't quote the books.
- Don't paste quotes from books into a style guide. You can edit your guides by hand, and we can't check what you add.
- If you think something here infringes your copyright, tell us as the contact page describes.
9. AI output
AI writing can be wrong, repetitive or unlike what you wanted. Check what it writes before you use it. Rewritten text is marked as AI-generated in exports.
10. Our responsibility
[Counsel: limits of liability, warranty and availability wording for your country go here. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.]
11. Law and disputes
[Counsel: governing law, courts, and the consumer's right to use the courts of their own country.]
12. Changes
We may change these terms. For a change that matters we give notice in the app, and you can delete your account if you don't accept it.
