Refund policy
You can ask for a refund of a word pack within 14 days of buying it, whether or not you used it.
How to ask
- Email [support email address] within 14 days of the purchase, with the email on your Paddle receipt. Or ask Paddle, the merchant of record, through the link in your receipt.
- We answer within [N] working days. A refund goes back to the way you paid, and Paddle makes the payment. Banks can take a few days to show it.
What happens to the words
- A refund takes the pack's words back from your balance, in proportion to the amount refunded.
- If you used some of the words first, your balance can go below zero. AI features then wait until you add words. Your text is never deleted because of a refund.
- A refund of your only purchase turns off book upload again.
After 14 days
We don't refund packs after 14 days, except where the law says we must. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Deleting your account
When you delete your account, unused words are forfeited and are not refunded. The app warns you before you confirm. A refund request within the 14 days still stands.
Right of withdrawal
In the EU and the UK, a consumer can normally withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Word packs are digital content delivered at once. At checkout you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that this ends the statutory right of withdrawal. We still give you the 14 days above.
